It goes without saying that this year has been challenging. The PTA wants to make fundraising safe and easy. We also want everyone to participate, regardless of whether or not you have the capacity to donate. We have a MUCH smaller budget this year due to remote learning, but we still have expenses and new grant requests to fulfill to support our school. This page contains everything you need to know about our fundraiser this year. We hope you make it to the bottom for the special surprise!

Our fundraising goal is $25,000.

What is the fundraiser this year?

Since most of us have very little "bandwidth" right now, The Ben Franklin PTA partnered with an online platform called Raise Craze. Raise Craze has a different model of fundraising. They allow EVERYONE to participate because it's not just about raising money. It's about Acts of Kindness. Using the Raise Craze platform, parents will help their student(s) create a private webpage that allows each student to log their Acts of Kindness and enter in email addresses to ask for donations.

As part of our fundraiser, students ask friends and family for donations via the online Raise Craze platform while paying it forward serving others. What a great way for us to teach our students the importance of kindness and gratitude while raising much needed funds. Note: Email addresses and donations are strongly encouraged but not required to participate in Raise Craze.

What does the PTA do? How will the PTA spend the money I donate? We are glad you asked! Please visit our Donate page to view how we use your donations and to donate directly to the PTA, if you decide not to participate in our Raise Craze event.
