The Ben Franklin PTA Board works in conjunction with the school to provide programs, enrichment, and community to Ben Franklin. New officers are elected at the Spring General Membership Meeting in April. Nominations to the Board begin in January. If you are interested in serving on the Ben Franklin Board, filling a Chair Position, or just in volunteering your time, please contact Sally.

PTA Minutes
The PTA Minutes for a meeting are posted once they have been approved by the Board at the following month's meeting. If you are interested in the minutes before they are posted, the Franklin Courier publishes the "highlights" of the meeting.
The PTA Budget is voted on at the first General Membership Meeting in September (coincides with Fall Family Night). It is the goal of the PTA to spend the majority of the money in the year in which it is raised and to carry over only a minimum. The current budget for 2008-09 (starting Sept2008) is available as well as the preceding budget for 2007-08 (June2008). These files are posted as attachments to this web page.
