We Raised over $44,000 in one day! Ben Franklin Students are amazing! Thank you to all of the parent volunteers and Ben Franklin staff who made this all happen.
The primary fundraiser for Ben Franklin is the annual Jog-a-Thon occuring on October 21st, 2009. Every child participates in this activity which generates almost all of Ben Franklin PTA's annual budget. Kick off this year is on Sept 30, students will be bringing home information about what they need to do for our funraiser to be successful. All the documents and info you may need can be found here.
 PACE (Parents And Community for Education):
Pace sign up is over for this year 2009-2010, please check back next fall for more information. Prizes from this year's registration will be coming home in the next 2 weeks.
You register your credit or debit card with PACE and Ben Franklin receives 5% of your purchases at participating locations. There are a variety of businesses right around us that do participate in PACE so it is an easy way to raise additional money for Ben Franklin without any extra effort. Registration is $25, $10 of which goes directly to Ben Franklin. You automatically save 20% on your first purchas
at each retailer in the book.
 Amazon Associates
Ben Franklin participates in the Amazon Associates program. If you order from Amazon, 4% of your purchases can be directed to Ben Franklin (anonymously) by using this link. You must use this link in order for Amazon to send it to Ben Franklin. A FAQ (attached below) is available with more information. You must start from this link in order for Ben Franklin to get credit.
escrip and SCRIP
SCRIP is another easy way to channel dollars back to Ben Franklin. You can purchase SCRIP cards to Red Apple, Starbucks, PCC and QFC. These are similar to gift cards, but a percentage of the sales goes back to Ben Franklin. And at some stores, like PCC, you can re-load your card when you use it up.  Target Red Card
Take charge of education sign up your Target red card at http://sites.target.com/site/en/corporate/page.jsp?contentId=PRD03-005158 and register Ben Franklin under schools.Target will donate a percentage of your purchase to our school.
 Box Tops For Education
We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week –- or more. Now turn those shopping trip into easy cash for our school, and encourage friends to do the same! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip and send them to your school’s Box Tops coordinator —- each one is worth 10¢ for your school.
