PTA Sponsored Classes for Spring 2011: The PTA is sponsoring after school classes in Spanish, Japanese, Chess, Art, Martial Arts, and Lego this year. If you would like to see a new class brought to Ben Franklin, this page has all the info. For Coordinators or Chaperones If you are coordinating and/or chaperoning an enrichment class, our Coordinator and Chaperone page has everything you need to know: policies on scheduling, collecting money, registration and more. Ben Franklin parents and community members volunteer to teach art classes at least once a month -- all classes receive art via the Art Docent program. There are several organizations that provide athletics for students in the LWSD elementary schools.
A variety of places provide summer programs and schedules. There is usually a discounted rate for city residents.
