Kindergarten School Supplies

2009-2010 

Here is a checklist of school supplies that are to be sent to class with your child on the first day of school.  Students will share all items except their book bag/backpack. Therefore, it is not necessary to write your child’s name on the other items. 

• Backpack or book bag (see-through backpacks are great!)
• 1 pair of children’s Fiskars brand pointed tip scissors
• 3 black flair markers – recommended paper mate brand
• 2 plastic folders with pockets
• 1 box of Crayola crayons
• 5 large glue sticks or 10 small glue sticks
• 1 medium bottle of School Glue
• 1 box of Crayola felt-tipped markers
• 1 box of #2 sharpened pencils
• 2 large boxes of crackers or cereal to share for snack - graham crackers, goldfish crackers, Ritz, Cheerios, etc
• 1 container of baby wipes - preferably in a rectangular container
• 1 set of Crayola watercolor paints
• 1 packet of stickers
• 1 ream of copy paper
• 1 box of 3 oz. or 5 oz. cups
• 1 package of paper plates 

Additional items to contribute that would be appreciated.  These items can be sent to school at any time throughout the year. 

• Paper towels
• 1 roll of scotch tape
• Ziploc baggies - 1 quart or gallon size
