Wednesday is Banking Day!

Dear Parent or Guardian,

Washington Mutual and Ben Franklin Elementary School would like to invite your child to participate in the School Savings Program. School Savings (Bank day) will begin September 19^th and will continue through out the school year each Wednesday during first recess.

Ben Franklin knew what he was talking about when he said, “A penny saved is a penny earned.” Learning how to manage money is an important lesson for all of us – and it is never too early to start learning. What a great way to start your children off learning about bank accounts. The students earn small prizes for their deposits as well as learn about saving.

If your student is new to Ben Franklin make sure they stop by the ‘Bank Day’ table to pick up a getting started packet. They will need a little help filling out the Master Account Agreement from you, please make sure they sign the form, not you the parent.
